Third Grade
Milestones in learning are the hallmark of third grade: multiplication, long division, cursive, report writing and the first overnight field trip. Learning to work with others includes goal setting and personal and group accountability for consequences. As expectations are raised for both behavior and academic endeavor students receive the opportunity and support to make good choices.
Fourth grade
Fourth grade is a dynamic year. Students build upon the skills they’ve mastered in the lower grades and gather the organizational and study skills needed to succeed in the upper grades. This nurturing environment allows them to take responsibility for their studies, actions, and spiritual growth. This is a pivotal growth year, as each child becomes a problem solver, literary critic, poetry writer, and an expert in California history.
