Fifth Grade

In fifth grade, students are well prepared during the year for their spring trip to Washington, D.C. as classroom learning is enhanced with on-the-spot experiences. Each child’s growing discernment abilities help them frame questions and struggle with concepts that lead to in-depth studies of U.S. history, math, science and literature. Each student builds confidence, as leadership and service opportunities are made available.

Sixth grade

Sixth grade is an extraordinary year of growth. Many students enter on the edge of childhood and leave in the midst of adolescence. During this year, there is a focus on the development of social awareness coupled with deeper study skills and habits. Students not only build upon and master previous studies, they also prepare for junior high. Studies focus on Ancient World History, Earth Science, Pre-algebra, and Missions outreach.
